I want to add canned pumpkin to my CP soap and I was wondering when, in the making of the soap, do I add the pumpkin and do I have to adjust the recipe itself when I add things like pumpkin to the recipe like you do with butters and oils??T.I.A~! CareBear Posted September 9, 2008 Share Posted September 9, 2008 The puree is primarily water, so I personally would subtract the amount of puree from your water and add about 1T per pound puree once the mix is emulsified.
