ebarnes
What color is your body butter? I just made my first batch using, Soybutter, Shea Butter, Sweet Almond Oil and CoCo Butter. The finished product is a little thin but is thickening up but the color is off white. I know that my butters where off white, how does one make a pure white butter using the ingredients that I have used?

brempel
I find people are looking for products that are totally natural or as close as they can get. My body butter is white and people prefer it that way. I would leave it that way unless you have requests to color it. I use a cranberry colored containor to give the colorBev
cindym
Are you using unrefined shea? If so that may be the culprit as well as the cocoa butter. Is it an emulsified butter? It would be helpful, if we knew the recipe.
