Though I knew a similar technique of making roses with ribbons, never thought it would apply to maple leaves...and the arrangement you have made in the flower pot looks wonderful. musicaworld Posted September 2, 2008 Share Posted September 2, 2008 Regarding preventing the maple leaves from drying early, the solution is - take a bottle of glycerine and pour enough quantity in a bowl (depending on the number of leaves ). Add double the quantity of water to it. Keep the leaves merged in this solution for a week. This way, the color is also preserved.
