islandgirl
Test burning CS Fresh Bread in Soy @ 1.3 oz/pp...Strong hot & Cold throw. When burning, All I smell is the "Yeast" or a beer scent. It looses it's buttery/bakery note, IMO..(It would make a great beer scented candle)OOB- YUMMY.. Smells like Aunt Annie's' Pretzels. I am so bummed.. I really wanted this FO to work... kandlekrazy
I didn't like it either. Some peeps did though. It's one of those scents that almost gags me once it cures in wax...and I LOVES fresh baked bread!
GourmetSoy
If you haven't tried NG's Whole Wheat Bread you should, it's true to the description! I use soy and the throw was great! Not a sweet bread smell like MC's.

Kymber
I just poured WSP Fresh Baked Bread this morning and my entire house smells like I am baking bread right now. This one is stellar and so true!!! Can't wait to test burn it! I am praying it is just as good as what I got pouring it!
bells4shells
I'm watching your burn response Kymber. I'm ready to test but would love to hear your opinion!
pwillo2
I just had to try the fresh bread from CS and I am a little disappointed too. I poured in soy at 6% pp.OOB it smelled yeasty and warm. When I got it poured the CT was delicious!!! A great buttery/yeast sweet smell, but HT was weak. I was diappointed but I am going to up the FO% and see if that helps. I think I really will like this scent if I can get a good HT.
krisy
Seems to me there is a huge difference in scent & flavor oils from one mfg. to another. All this makes it so difficult to produce a product with consistancy. In our retail store everything has to remain consistant at all times. FRESH BREAD? THAT'S A GREAT WINTER WI. PRODUCT!I would love to feature it.Thank You.Krisy&Ric Oestreich
mommy2xp
I just poured WSP Fresh Baked Bread this morning and my entire house smells like I am baking bread right now. This one is stellar and so true!!! Can't wait to test burn it! I am praying it is just as good as what I got pouring it!Kymber, do you use soy and what percentage do you use? The oil from WSP is very, very pricey! I was just wondering if I could go down to 1oz per pound with it, or less. TIA

I love it...it gets better with age!Doesn't it make your room smell like e a frat house, the day after a big keg party? !! Gosh.. all I could smell was a strong beer scent.. Good throw, but not the Fresh bread scent I was looking for..:undecided
ah-soy
LOL...nope no keg party smell...trying to reach way back in my memory to remember what those smell like I get a nice, almost sweet bread baking scent. I am using it in a 70% para and 30% soy blend.
Jess05
Any other opinions on CS's Fresh Baked Bread? Or does anyone know of a awesome one for soy?!
WhitePineCandle
I've often debated sampling Fresh Bread whenever I buy from CS just out of curiosity. By the sound of it, I'm not missing much.
