Lightning Bug
Is there a storage time limit to paraffin or can you keep cases around for say, several years? Does it change color or anything? TIA. Beth
Circle
Not sure, but I would think it would last ages
usairforce
I have several cases of paraffin that I have had for several years that I purchased from a closeout and they are just fine. I also have container wax from a few years back and it looks and works just great. I don't think it has an expiration date.
scentsationaldelites
I was at a candle convention and asked an IGI wax salesperson this same question and he said he's had paraffin wax in his closet (boxed up and in a controlled temperature environment, kept dry) that has been in there for over 10 years and it's still good. I wouldn't worry too much about storage of the wax and length of time if you keep it in a controlled environment. I myself have had wax for over three years and it still performs the same as when I bought it. With wax prices on the rise, I'm tempted to order a few extra cases since it stores so well.
