Crafty1
at what stage is it added? and should the water be discounted?
mountainmadness
Honey is normally added at light trace. I have never done a water discount for the honey. I have always treated it like an additive. Don't add too much.... and I normally warm the honey before I add it. I have had brown gooey spots in soap because sometimes it is hard to incorporate.HTH. Shani
I usually add my honey to the oils and melt it with the oils and then add the lye/water mixture. I haven't had any problems with it not being incorporated.HTH:smiley2:
Sara
I've added mine at trace. Honey can really heat things up so be warned
siberia
I measure out my honey into a small container then add a small amount of the water that would have gone into my lye solution. I then place this mix into a water bath to gently melt the honey. After the lye/water solution has cooled down, I add the warmed honey water and mix really well.
