brempel
Has anyone ever made cp soap using sheep's milk? I haven't read up on it but have an opportunity to use some. Any ideas on where to find info on this?br
Meridith
I have never soaped with sheep's milk, but if it were me, I'd proceed like I was soaping any other milk soap, making my normal adjustments for milk soaps. Soaping with sheep's milk sounds interesting. I bet it too makes wonderful soap. I love milk soaps.
kidsngarden
Yes, soap it just like any other milk - if you want to freeze it in ice cube trays and wait until the 21st I am doing a GM tutorial here you can sit in on. They should really call it a milk soap class because the same rules apply - goat, cow, sheep whatever!
jbren
I've only used powdered sheeps milk that a friend in Scotland sent me. I also used powdered butter in a batch with it and it made the most fantastically dense & creamy lather ever!
janiece
I've used it in powdered form and it made wonderful soap. I handled it just like any other milk and it all went well. I wish I could get some more; my dog got the bag of powder down and ate it all! I wasn't happy but it was my fault for not putting it in the freezer. If anyone finds a source for more, please let me know.
