sportsmom12
I have been making for friends simple scrubs that consist of raw sugar, salt , carrier oil and fo. While I really like them- I thought I read about making a thicker scrub that uses body butter. Does anybody have any experience with that?Thank youLinda
heirloomoriginals
If you do a search in the recipe section for "emulsified scrubs" you will find quite a few recipes. I haven't gotten around to playing with them yet, but plan to this fall.Steph

sportsmom12
Since I am a rookie- I need a little more help. What is e-wax? I have soy wax and paraffin was as I dabble in candles toothanks
CareBear
e-wax is basically an emulsifying compound. more here: http://www.soapnaturally.org/natural_skincare/emulsions.htmlhaving an emulsifier in your scrub, even if it doesn't contain water itself, makes it rinse away more "pleasantly" leaving a nicer feeling on the skin.
