FunFlames Posted July 4, 2008 Share Posted July 4, 2008 I am using a 75/25 415/J223 blend. I used 1.2oz pp of CS Sex on the beach. A few drops of color. I double wicked a 16oz apothecary, just under 4 inch diameter, with 2 CD 7's. My dilema is I have a FMP w/i 2 hours, the flames are small/medium and a little dancey. The mp is 1/2 inch deep. (first test burn)My thought is I would get a FMP faster than just one wick, but I am 90% certain that this is too fast. The jar is only 119* so it is not burning really hot.I am planning on re-wicking to 2 CD 6's.... does this sound better or should I go lower? Aimee81 Posted January 6, 2012 Share Posted January 6, 2012 I don't use your wax but I use apothecary jars with almost 4 inch diameter and am in process of testing a new soy wax and wicks and I have been getting a almost fmp in 4 hours on my first burns....haven't done second burns yet but I am using 2 wicks....(RRD, CD, LX are the one's I have tested so far) and my mp was 1/4 inch deep on first test burn.
