starring
I bought a nice soap, it only has four ingredients listed, one is "Hyposulfite of Sodium" what is this exactly? A chemical? What is it used for? Thanks!
Scented
Google says its this: http://www.biology-online.org/dictionary/Sodium_hyposulfiteHave no clue what it would be good for unless ringworm ... just my unscientific guess.
Tall Blonde
From Free Dictionary:sodium thiosulfaten. A white, translucent crystalline compound, Na2S2O3·5H2O, used as a photographic fixing agent and as a bleach. Also called hypo1, hyposulfite, sodium hyposulfite.Maybe it's to keep the soap white? Doesn't really seem like something you'd put in soap. What else is in it?
starring
Just an oil, sodium hydroxide, that weird hyposulfite sodium, and petitgrain. Feels really creamy.
Tall Blonde
Here's another link:http://www.encyclopedia.com/doc/1E1-sodiumth.htmlI don't know. It seems an odd chemical to put into soap. I don't know that I'd use that soap, regardless how it feels.ETA:The Chemistry Store sells it to remove chlorine from water.

starring
eeeeeeeeewwwwwwwww.Sigh, why do I even bother with non-indie soap products? Here is a link to the product: http://www.herbalremedies.com/creamofcocha.html And what they list as the ingredients are NOT what the actual product label says. Neither of those ingreds the site say are on the label.I need to go shop some of the craftserver member's pages for good soap!
