TexasBrat
I have a package of 2# m&p soap and it is so much smaller than what I have made with cphp soap in a 2# batch? I know 2#'s is 2#'s but I can get more bars out of 2#'s of cphp than this 2#'s of m&p. Weird? Does this make sense?
Michi
I think maybe because you have incorporated more air into the CP soaps, whereas the M&P is just melted, and poured. that's the only thing I can come up with, having never done CP soap (YET!!), I may be way off here, but that is the only thing I can think of that makes sense, cuz like you said, a pound is a pound is a pound. Jcandleattic
I think it's more of a density thing. MP is more dense than CP and therefore is more compact/smaller.. Kinda like a lb of feathers vs. a lb of brick.. The brick will be smaller because it is more dense than the feathers..
