Jokerjen
any pics of the inside of their candle store? I trying to figure out some sort of set-up for the store I will be opening in early fall..I have some ideas....but a visual of other stores would really help!lol
candlesmcs
Here's my number one suggestion......do not try to sell jar candles off of glass shelves. Display your jar candles on wooden display units. Keep your fragrances/candles together. Do not spread them around. It makes it difficult for the consumer to find what they like.
Debra Phelps
I closed my store, but quilts on the wall looks cool, barnwood , antiques, glass candy jars for votive and tarts. Anything that looked like an old timey store. My suggestion is always have something out side on a sale table to draw them in. Make sure you sell lots of goodies besides candles. I will reopen mine in the fall. I am taking the summer off. I did one store with Christmas lights. Then I dimmed the regular lights and it looked so cool in there. Of course I had candles burning.
