lindanelson
Does anyone know which one of these is a softer, more squeezable plastic bottle?
beau's mama
Does anyone know which one of these is a softer, more squeezable plastic bottle?MDPE is softer, but I have some natural HDPE bottles that squeeze just fine & don't feel as flimsy.HTH
lindanelson
So for lotion samples I want to use the HDPE?I don't make my lotion runny. I make more of a cream than a lotion. I am just starting to make it to sell. I thought the 2 oz would be a good size to start with.I have some 2 oz jars already that I'm going to try also. sandissoap
I use hdpe 2 oz bottles for my lotion but wish I could get that size/style in an mdpe or even ldpe. H stands for Hard, M for Medium and L for Light. What they ACTUALLY stand for I'm not positive but this is how I refer to them. I use 1/2 ozers for my sample bottles and they are ldpe's and are so nice and soft and squishy. They work great for samples. You would never want to store any sort of fragrance oil in anything like an ldpe as it will eat through the bottle after a little while since its a light plastic. hope some of this helps! lindanelson
These are the bottles that I was thinking about ordering.http://www.essentialsbycatalina.com/shop/shopexd.asp?id=
SpaceGirl
High density, Medium density, Low density. You were close! If you want really squishy then you don't want HDPE, but remember that some of the squishy factor will depend on the shape of the bottle. Sister Kya
I've purchased the 4 oz. bottles from EbC twice now. The first batch were nice and squishy, the second batch were harder and kind of a let down.Just FYI
