kinipela
I'm doing roll-on perfumes with FCO and FO only. So far they're great, but I'm doing 2/3 FCO to 1/3 FO. Is this too much FO?
katshe
I could only find info on using cyclo, fco & fo 4 parts cyclo1 part fractionated coconut oil1 part fragrance oilNot sure if fo is at a different amount if only using fco
kinipela
Thanks, that was my problem too, only finding ones with cyclo.... I don't have any cyclo yet!
Angel91805
I'm one of "those" people that can't stand the feel of cyclo.....never said I was "normal"! LOL.Anyway....in my notes, I've unearthed this: 3 parts FCO (or jojoba), 1 part FO. I've read some going as high as 50% though. I haven't tried it yet. I did get some roller bottles a bit ago, so I need to play and try....Donna
lindsaycb
What about if you're using essential oils? I'd like to make some perfume oils with just oil & fo/essential blends. Do I have to reduce my fragrance part then if I'm using essential oils?
pamperme
I did a 50% oil/50% FO and tested it. Worked great!....and to my surprise on my sensitive skin it did not bother me. Tried it with Sunflower and soy oil...not toghter but two separate ones. I liked the sunflower better but that is just me...that is my oil of choice. SpaceGirl
I'm wondering if there is something with a carrier oil that buffers a fragrance oil... because I used a recipe someone else gave here.... FO ends up being 20%, FCO 20% and cyclo 60% and that worked sooooo well -- didn't bother any of my "testers'" skin.
