HelenW
I want to try using Sodium lactate POWDER in my soap this weekend and just want to make sure I have it right. I normally do a 33% Lye solution but after reading it was suggested to do a full water. By the way I am doing this CP. So normally my Lye would be 7.407 oz. and 15.039 oz. distilled water, so I will change that to 7.407 oz lye and 19.95 oz. water with approx. .63 oz. sodium lactate powder added. On the MMS Calc. is stated to use 1.05 oz (2%) sodium lactate liquid so I just multiplied that by 60% to get the powder amount, hopefully that is correct. This is for a 52.5 oz. oil batch.Any assistance would be greatly appreciated.Helen
