However, I am worried that they might sit on the delivery truck on a hot day and wind up melting inside of the package.Is there any special care I should take when mailing a candle? Glowlite Posted November 2, 2005 Share Posted November 2, 2005 I've mailed tons of candles and have only had 2 problems with them melting.That was in the middle of July and mailed on a Thursday so they had the whole weekend to sit in the truck and get hot. Now body butter... that's different Like another poster mentioned, ship early to mid-week. Avoid shipping on Friday or Saturday when the box will sit somewhere over the weekend.
