DENISE72598
Once again....testing some waxes. Poured 10 oz Victorian Jars with the Harmony Blend IGI 1945 and as it is setting up I notice little holes (almost like a worm hole on an apple ) on the top of the candle. How do I correct this if the wax is a one pour...do I use a heat gun to get it to smooth over on the few that it happened to? And if so...where did you all get your guns ? Thanks,Denise
DENISE72598
Anybody? Help!!!!
Trae
I would definitely zap that with a heat gun because that "little" hole can actually turn out to be a canyon once you hit it with the heat gun. You can get the gun at WalMart in the hardware section. HTH!Trae
DENISE72598
When you "zap" the top of the candle does it ruin your wick?
Trae
I just make sure that I don't hold the heat gun over the wick for too long. I've only lit the wick once with the heat gun! LOL! If you're worried about it, maybe clip a clothespin over the wick and then melt the top with the gun.Trae
