Sink hole on the top of candle.....

Recommended Posts

Once again....testing some waxes.

Poured 10 oz Victorian Jars with the Harmony Blend IGI 1945 and as it is setting up I notice little holes (almost like a worm hole on an apple :shocked2: ) on the top of the candle. How do I correct this if the wax is a one pour...do I use a heat gun to get it to smooth over on the few that it happened to? And if so...where did you all get your guns ? :grin2:

Thanks,

Denise

I just make sure that I don't hold the heat gun over the wick for too long. I've only lit the wick once with the heat gun! LOL! If you're worried about it, maybe clip a clothespin over the wick and then melt the top with the gun.

:grin2:
