DONNAMAC
I just made a couple batches of salt bars using my tried and true recipe, and totally forgot you were suppose to superfat at a higher number. For some reason, I just used the 5% percent because that was what was on the calculator. Is there gonna be a big difference in the bars? Meridith
I only use a 5% superfat with my salt bars and they are just fine.
jbren
I usually do 6%. They'll be fine.
sudsnwicks
I've been superfatting mine at 5%. I tried a higher superfat at first and didn't like the outcome, though by now I can't remember why.
DONNAMAC
Thanks ladies, I don't know why always did a 10% and that is what worked for me, so I never changed it. I did try alittle piece today, and it did seem fine.
