anabanana's candles
I got everything that I need for my first cp and I am NERVOUS. Also, one more question. My dad loves Trader Joe's oatmeal and honey soap and I was looking at the ingredients and saw no sodium hydroxide or any of it's other names. What's up? Wish me luck. I am terrified and excited all at once.
mystical_angel1219
Try not to be nervous, soaping can be almost therapeutic. I'd suggest weighing out all your ingredients first, preparing the mold and printing off a tutorial or two, with the recipe. It helps to be undisturbed and kinda in your "zone" for lack of a better term. That Trader Joe's soap you spoke of could be MP.If you can, post a pic of your newest addiction. LOL! Good luck. anabanana's candles
Thanks, I will post a pic. Fugly or not. Also, can I use my presto pot to melt and heat my oils and then add my lye mixture? Wasn't sure about the teflon, although you can use a rubbermaid pitcher to mix lye solution in. So maybe.. The rubbermaid pitcher is perfect for the lye solution. I wouldn't bother with the Presto, it is easier just to use the micro.
