CBE
Hydrolyzed oats are in liquid form, as in Hydrolyzed Oat Protein. Can be used in lotions, shampoos, conditioners, etc. Colloidal Oatmeal is the kind of oatmeal that's a very fine powder. This one is used in bath soaks, scrubs, and masques. HTH. idacandlelady
The hydrolized oats I'm looking at is powdered.http://www.gardenofwisdom.shoppingcartsplus.com/catalog/item/4076644/3906325.htmbut it doesn't have any usage info. I was hoping to be able to use it in scrubs like the colloidal.I can find the colloidal at another place but some of the other things I want they don't have. CBE
I've never used powdered hydrolyzed protein... only the liquid. I get mine here: Hydrolyzed Oat ProteinBeing it's powdered, I'm assuming it's water soluble. Can be added to the water phase of your products. As for adding it in scrubs... you would probably have to experiment with it. Maybe contact Garden of Wisdom and ask them for recommendations. I forgot her name... Marty? Marney? Marley? LOL She's real sweet and quick to respond.
