blazerina
Welcome to the board. You will find lots of helpful people here and ever more helpful posts. You will need to ask yourself all kinds of questions about what kind of wax you are interested in using, Soy, Para or blends. From there you can go to the appropriate board (General Candle or Vegetable wax candle making) here on this site. You can just start reading all the great info or use the 'search this forum' tab to type in 'kit for newbie' or something similar.:smiley2: Good luck and here's to many long hours of reading:D
PSPjen
I still consider myself a newbie, but when I first started I bought the majority of my supplies for Peaks. They do have kits (as do most of the major suppliers). I looked at what was in the kit and then bought the supplies seperately because I already had a few of the items. You will need to decide which wax you like and go from there. I did A LOT of reading on this board before I placed my first order. I am still reading all the time and ordering/trying new things from several suppliers. Good luck!
safiye
Also, shipping can get expensive, so check out the suppliers that are close to you to see if they have what you want and need.
cindym
I started with a kit from Peak's and loved it. I live on the East Coast but it was a great starter kit and of course you also have live help on their website.
