Vio Posted February 21, 2008 Share Posted February 21, 2008 I've been using castile with castor and jojoba on my face and it's pretty gentle. I just started CP soaping though, so I really don't know anything yet. For the jojoba I had 4 oz here of organic jojoba oil, so I made up a recipe that used almost the whole thing in % and inserted it in an OO and castor recipe. I took away from the OO to play with the numbers. I put the jojoba in with the others to add lye water to, instead of waiting for any trace to add it. Carriegsxr6 Posted February 21, 2008 Share Posted February 21, 2008 i would start with 40% Olive, then add 30% Palm, and 20% Rice Bran, and 10% Castor. No coconut needed. Mango butter is good too, add 5-10% Mango and subtract from the Palm. This should give you a nice gentle creamy lathering bar that doesnt turn to mush in the shower.
