BeagleBaby Posted February 4, 2008 Share Posted February 4, 2008 Has anyone used the "Soy Wax Modifier" and does it really work. I am trying to use my soy with no other waxes mixed, but I really hate the frosting and the way the top looks like cottage cheese at times. I generally use Nature C3 at 75% and 25% J223. J223 has taken such a jump in price that I have decided to go straight C3. I poured a few testers yesterday and to each # of C3 I added 2 Tbsp of soy pillar wax. This morning I have nice smooth tops and pretty good glass adhesion. I noticed just a few snowflake looking spots. I'm hopeing they wont spread. I noticed that there are alot of C3 users on this board, so that was a good reason for me to join it. Any imput is always appreciated.
