FunFlames
Hello again.... I know I have been the "Queen of Questions", but I have another. If I could get the search to work the way most do, I could answer these on my own. It does NOT like me though.Question: What is the best way to wick tealights? I am pouring straight into the plastic cups. I have read a few different ways. Tonight I tried pouring then when it started to set up, I inserted the wick. Not real thrilled with that method. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.Danielle
JennB
I hot glue just like anything else. Otherwise I'd be afraid the wick would slide around and melt the plastic. I've never had one come loose.
Dolphin146
Hi I hot glue all my wicks in first then pour. I keep a bag full of plastic cups allready to go. So when I need them I just pull them out and pour.Regina
iammommytwo
I just put a few drops of wax in the bottom of the cup, then "set" the wick assembly, then pour the rest of my wax. Never had a problem doing it that way.
Kimdles
I set my wicks in when wax is getting "thick"...seems to be OK...
kbuck
ok, it looks like I do mine differently. I use wick pins that I would normally use for votives, wait for everything to cool down, take the wick pin out and slide my wick in.Kim
