Free Sample With Purchase?

Hello Candletech,

I would like to take a moment to clarify our sample policy.

We always send a free sample with an order when requested. Just let us know which oil you would like to try in the 'Notes' box on the bottom of the shopping cart page.

As for the missing samples please allow me to explain. Originally we had a basic notes box on the cart page. As long as you added your note right before clicking through to the checkout we received it. The problem was that people would add the note, then realize they forgot something, go back to shopping, and not add it again. The note box reset every time the cart page loaded.

So earlier this year we reprogrammed the cart to 'remember' your note. That way if you wrote it and browsed away it would show up next time you clicked on the cart. This has corrected the vast majority of problems. But it uses newer technology that does not work on some older browsers, or browsers with javascript disabled.

To make sure we got your note take a quick look at your email receipt. Toward the bottom you will see 'Notes:'. If your note is there we got it, if not we didn't. In that case please call us right away so we can make sure we add it to the order.

We will be improving this system again early in 2008 to eliminate all chances of losing your sample.
