Scented
Got any mold cleaner? If so, I'd rub some of that in the grooves and where the wax is sticking and wipe off. If not, get a soft cloth and try it with warm oil maybe.
Alohagirl
Since you're just starting out, I assume you're heating your wax over simmering water. If so, try placing the mold over the water for a few seconds so the steam can soften the wax. Then wipe clean with a paper towel. That's how I clean my plastic molds since I can't use a heat gun on them.
AndiWood
I use hot water to clean everything - works greatQuestion of the plastic molds - just purchased the poly carb mold with the silicone base - have not made a pour yet, how does this work - base is not attached - the mold just kinda sits on it - so I cannot pick it up and do a cold water dip to set - any comments or advise I would appreciateAndiwood
