idacandlelady
Could someone please help me to make sense of this. I know I'm probably making it harder than it should be, but I am so frustrated I can't think straight. In several of my scents that I'm testing (new wax)(double wick in 4" jar) , after the second or third burn the wicks seem to almost die or one actually does die.To me it seems like they are robbing oxygen from each other. So if this is correct I should wick down, right? I have tried wicking up on a couple of these and can't get past the problem. Or maybe my wicks are too close together? I don't know what to think anymore, I'm so flustered! Please help me get my mind around this before I lose it(my mind) LOL.ThanksRebecca
bugtussle
What wax are you using? That is what my wicks did in bad 6006. Carole
idacandlelady
I'm using accu soy 10 from swan's. This isn't a problem in all scents. I have about 5 of them ,tested good. I'm wondering if my wicks are too close together? All I know is I really want this wax to work, I love the way it looks. Hopefully I can get it figured out. becky0404
I'm sorry I'm not going to be much help, but that's what kept happening to me too in 100% soy. I got so frustrated with trying to figure it out I gave up on it. I hope someone can give you some good advice on what to do.

Meridith
What wicks have you tried? I have found 4" to be very frustrating - one size wick burns too hot, then next size down, is not enough. It is enough to drive you completely insane. Most of my luck has been with the ECO 10's but they even burn a bit hotter than I'd like but the 8's just don't cut it. idacandlelady
I've tried LX's and htp's. Have had most luck so far with the htp's but I'm stuck on several scents. I also have some CDN's, have tried one size (no luck). Maybe I will try the eco, I have a couple sizes. I have one size of hemp also.
