Recommended Posts

My daughter has a friend at school that makes her own lip balm and body glitter, and now she want to try her hand at doing her own.....

Does anybody have a good (easy) recipe for lip balm, and would you be so kind as to tell me the best places to buy supplies.

Thank you

One of my favorite lip balms is equal parts cocoa butter, beeswax and jojoba oil.

I haven't treid the glitter so I can't help ya there :)

As far as the Glitter Body Gel this is one that I wrote down from somewhere :undecided have but havent tried yet

4oz Clear Aloe Vera Gel

1/4tsp B&B glitter

3-4 drops B&B dye

20 drops fo

Mix until well blended

Works with jars or squeeze tubes

Another easy one she might like is

OH MY GOSH!!! Thank you so much Darwin...... that will be such a great help. Sure looks easy enough to get the supplies, so we're going to give it a go..... 3053594i.gif

Can you just add body safe scent to that mixture? And does it have to be at a certain percentage like candles?

You need to buy Flavour oil for the lip balms, its usually used at around 4%

You can buy the flavour oils presweetened, if you are using one that is not sweetened , you may want to add a lip balm sweetener to it.

The site that darwin gave you also carries a HUGE supply or flavour for lip balm.
