witchjt
Hello all, I am looking for a little help here. We are working on molded candles for our holiday gifts. They are setting up nicely and come out of the mold smoothly but we have a white film on some of them. It is not a smooth film but looks like little layers and does not cover the entire candle. I thought it might be water in my mold but have tried drying it throughly and that did not help. Any thoughts or suggestions? Thanks in advance,Denise
Trish
Sounds like you might have some rustic effect going on. Can you post a picture?
Trejen
Sounds like rustic to me. They are probably really nice but post a picture.
3-boys-4-me
Try heating your wax just a little hotter or warming your molds. Also, be sure you're pouring in a warm room away from any drafts or A/C vents.
