flcandles Posted October 3, 2007 Share Posted October 3, 2007 hi everyone i recently bought banana fo from lonestar and it smells wonderful in the bottle i made '4' 4oz using 1oz per pound. i realize i could possibly have candlenose but i atleast smell SOMETHING after my kitchen has aired out for awhile... but i smell absolutley nothing. im going to let it cure for a couple days then resmell the candles but has anyone ever had that happen before with banana? im using igi4786this has never happen before:undecided If anyone has a clue to why.........please share thanks Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

Sorry, but I've never tried Lonestar, but I have tried others, and they just don't cut it. I just got a sample of Banana Cream from www.kycandlewaxsupply.com and I'm waiting for www.flickersfragrances.com Banana Walnut Cake to arrive. So far, the strongest for me has been Banana Nut Bread from www.candlescience.com. Oh yeah, I've read where www.candlecocoon.com Red Banana, is strong & true ... that's next on my list. Every one I've tried either won't throw or just doesn't smell right ... always seems to have a fake/off smell. It wasn't just me, cause none of my testers have liked any I've tried. Susan.
