Tara
Any one know what to mix to get this color?
lindsaycb
I always use the butterscotch dye chips...so I'm not help. But if I want it more of a primitive butterscotch, I throw in 1/4 or a 1/2 dye chip of brown.I would think if you're starting with yellow...using brown would tone it into the gold color you're looking for. wvcandleguy
I agree, if you want to do your own, start with yellow and add a touch of brown till its the color you want... I use liquid dye, so its just a tad easier. only problem is I sometimes forget how many drops I used, so I have to start back at square one...lol... but its all good
Guest ShellyRobyn
For 57 oz of wax (don't ask why 57) I use 1.5 chips brown, 5 drops brown and 4 drops yellow. I always have to complicate things! :rolleyes2
debscent
Do you have ivory? I just increase my amount of ivory to make it caramel-butterscotch.
