katsik123
Hi my name is Katrina and I want to start making my own candles but I'm a little lost. I want to make jar candles and I have read to use 4786 wax but what exactly do I need to add to the wax to give it a great smell, look, and quality. Any tips would be great. Thank you:)
Breanna
This is a preblend for containers,,,,all you need is your fragrance oil and dye,,,also wicks,,,,,You may want to consider a starter kit from www.peakcandle.com Their kits are awesome,,,HTH
AngelaVA
Breanna is right, that wax is a preblend and you really only need to add color and fragrance oil. There are lots of container blends you can use other than 4786 too, so you may want to try a few of them out and see which one you like. Some of the ones you can use are 4627, 4630, J223, J50, J300 and 6006. You can do a search for these waxes and get loads of information. I also recommend getting the starter kit. I got the starter kit from Bittercreek North and it was great. Good luck!
