Brooke
Hi,I made a air freshener and tested it in my truck.I forgot the bag had some oil on it from testing.Anyway the oil had seeped through the bag and etched my plastic shelf in the truck. MY FAULT BUTIt brought my attention to if the air freshener could seep oil whenit is left in the vehicle ( in the heat) and cause the same problem. What do you think :rolleyes2 Damage it's that bad but I am glad it happened to me instead of a customer. CandleFreak
It happened to my dad's work truck as well - but not in my jeep??? Ever since then I warn people...it's on my warning label as well....Do NOT set directly on any wood or plastic surface as oils may cause damage. I always tell the customer to hang, lay it on the cello bag it comes in, or throw it under the car seat where it's not visible.
hawaiiansun
Air fresheners shouldn't be set on anything, it should be hung or if you want to set it in a draw or somewhere in your car or room try putting it in a jar, with the smelly jelly lids. They work great that way. Just shake every so often to revive it. Good luck
