TheWickChick
I make drink candles, I'd like to add a lemon twist but I'm not sure how to make them.
fireheart99
I never made a lemon twist myself, but here's how I would try to do it.... melt some paraffin or soy, color and scent how you want it, and pour a thin layer into a jelly pan. When warm but will hold it's shape if you pick it up, slice it into strips, and try delicately molding a strip over a pen or similar shaped object to get a "twist". Don't know if this would work, but may be worth a shot :rolleyes2
jbren
shaving a piece from a block with a vegetable peeler will work also as long as your wax is a bit soft.
deb12c
Or maybe use a cheese slicer, the kind with the wire and the roller. The kind used to cut Velveta cheese. Slice a long piece from a block and then cut into strips. Or slice a short piece off the end of a block if it would belong enough and cut it into strips. Then twist it around a straw.
