beloved
I have a cream soap i have made and you let it rot for at least 2months. My girl friend said she wanted a facial srub because she has some dry spots on her face. Soooooooo I thought instead of putting somthing to gether for her I jsut took about 4 oz of my rose clay cream soap and adding fine suger to it. The cream soap kinda thicken so i use alittle aloa vera juice. Then added sugar to the point where it was thick but not easy to stir. I made more than i needed. Filled a 4 oz jar for her and 2 2 oz jars. I am going to ship one out to my tester and she how she likes it. If any of you make cream soap would like to see what you do with it. BLSoaps
i normally use my regluar lotion recipe and add walnut shell and rice powder. i don't sell this,i make it just for me and hubbyI tried this out, and mixed up a jar ahead of time, and the stuff I stored formed mold. If you mix it up as you use it, it works wonderfully, and I LOVE LOVE LOVE it as a facial scrub. But since it sounds like you're wanting to pre-mix it (since I believe you mentioned a malibu tube), you're going to probably want something non-organic (as in herbal or food based, like the walnut shell, not organic as in how it's grown) for your scrubby part if your base contains water. I don't know how well Jojoba Beads would work. It'd probably take quite a few for them to be effective. There are different kinds of micro-spheres that would probably work well in a cream base, but I haven't tried them out. They don't dissolve (like sugar or salt would in a cream), they won't rehydrate and grow mold (like the walnut shell). They're pretty much nonreactive.
