karen lynn Posted August 6, 2007 Share Posted August 6, 2007 I bought a colonial taper mold from Candlewic and need help on wicking the mold..I have the wick but does anyone know what works best to get the wick into the mold?Also,do you use a wick bar across the top of the mold to keep wick centered while the wax sets up?Any help would be GREATLY GREATLY appreciated!!Thanks!Karen~ Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
ChrisR Posted August 6, 2007 Share Posted August 6, 2007 I use this wicking needle from Better Bee....it works great!! http://www.betterbee.com/products.asp?dept=851With those Candlewic molds I had to spray them good with a mold release....I finally quit using them cause my beeswax would stick all the time. I use the Mann Lake molds now and I like them much better.
