Need help with making tapers from mold.......

I bought a colonial taper mold from Candlewic and need help on wicking the mold..I have the wick but does anyone know what works best to get the wick into the mold?Also,do you use a wick bar across the top of the mold to keep wick centered while the wax sets up?Any help would be GREATLY GREATLY appreciated!!Thanks!Karen~

With those Candlewic molds I had to spray them good with a mold release....I finally quit using them cause my beeswax would stick all the time. I use the Mann Lake molds now and I like them much better. I still do spray them though. http://www.mannlakeltd.com/catalog/page105.html

I also used a big bobby pin to hold the wick, but any wick bar should work. Have fun!! :cool2:
