latch
cut and trim your soap during 4 week cure time or after? if that makes any sense?
Toni S.
Hey Latch,I always cut mine after they are cured but you'll probably get different answers from each and every soaper!! I would say it's a personal preference.Good luck
Angel91805
Yup, what Toni said...you will get lots of answers here.I do mine between 2 days and a week after I unmold them. Depends of the soap is a little mooshy or not. :rolleyes2 But, I've also done them at 4 weeks too. I tend to lean towards the harder bars, so I like to cut them sooner rather than later.Donna
eugenia
I cut after 24 hours and trim/bevel after 4 weeks or more.
CareBear
If I've got mica swirls, which can get brittle, I trim/bevel at 24 hours if I can. Other soaps I wait as long as possible. If you do it when the soap is softish the bits stick to the soap IME.
