kw2703 Posted July 7, 2007 Share Posted July 7, 2007 I realized I ordered the wrong size wicks and am trying to organize my next order. I have decided to use RRD wicks since I am using palm wax. Since I double wick my containers (4.25" at its widest point), do I order RRD 55 which is for 4-4.5" containers or do I go a size down for containers that are for 3.75" containers? Thank you! littlebrownbug Posted July 8, 2007 Share Posted July 8, 2007 Hi KW,Just wanted to know if your wick is meant to melt in a jar that is 4.25 as a single wick? I would guess that you would want two wicks that would melt half of that size each which should get you a complete melt pool. Otherwise I am guessing that two wicks that would melt 4-4.25 in. each would make your jars way to hot when burning....just a thought.Mike Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
