Advice for website (newbie)

I have never had a website but I am wanting to start one but I dont want to have a shopping cart. I just want a way that people can view my products and I want to be able to have a email with it that I can be contacted with. Could someone please direct me in the right place for this. Thanks so much.

If you are just looking to create an on-line brochure, try Geocities.com

They have a site builder, you just type and upload photos. It's free, but there are ads. I think you can upgrade and lose the ads. But you can try it for free and see if it is something you would want to do.

Freewebs is super easy to use, not sure about the email account though.

Freewebs is great! Very easy. Thats what I use. You can make up your own order form page using their Forms feature and then when someone submits it to you, it goes straight to your e-mail. I do this and then review the order and invoice them through paypal. Works great, you never get a surprise order since you review everthing before they pay.

EZshoppes is around $40 a year, I believe, and they offer what you are looking for. (Plus you can use their templates if you don't have your own graphics) It's a good start! Good luck!
