Ruina
Mandarin Sandlewood. Swirls in the pot. Didn't get it quite right. Maybe next time.
prairieannie
They look so soft and pretty.. kind of a "gradiated" look, I like it! I bet they smell awesome too! Swirling can take lots of practice.. don't despair if it's not what you expected, use it as another excuse to make more soap and try again!! Scented
I like the soft look to them, but yeah, take PA's suggestion. Swirling is an art form lol.
Ruina
thanks PA & Scented. I so wanted them to took like Robin's swirls in the tutorial. But you're right. It'll take a lot more practice. Meanwhile, these aren't too bad.
GrandmaArial
I like it. The colors are very subtle, maybe next time a bit more contrast if that’s what you want, but the swirls themselves look as good if not better than mine and everyone said my first tries were good, so yours must be great! Casey
Very pretty, Ruina! Mandarin Sandalwood?! Yum! Your own blend?
jaybyrd
Very pretty, Ruina! Mandarin Sandalwood?! Yum! Your own blend?:highfive: Ditto to both sentiments. Is that an FO or a blend of eo's? I really like the blurry natural look you got - like the way sandalwood smells to me.
Ruina
Thanks to all. Yes, GrandmaArial, I did want more contrast. I was looking for light orange swirls but it turned out way too light. No, not my blend Casey. It's from Candlewic. It's saids skin safe, so I figured I'd try it. I did a 1 lb rt batch with no A. The scent seems too light, hope it comes back over time. Thanks jaybyrd. I do like the way it turned out. It goes with the scent afterall.
