As someone who likes my soap etc as "natural" as possible, I have issues with products made from bases and M&P, dyed and scented with fragrance oils, listed as "natural and environmentally friendly".

I didn't read or forgot the lotion or soap part with the post but for me want to be up front. I list my lotion as dye free with skin safe fragrance oils. Working on MP soap again sometime. For soap I will say the same but mention melt and pour base that is dye free, scented with skin safe fragrance oils.

I envy those who make soap but I have breathing problems with some things and know I cannot use lye. Did make soap and candles many years ago with my mom. In the 50's and 60's. Also made boo koo potholders. My mom kept me busy and I had fun.

Never see potholder making anymore. Very easy and would be good for kids to learn in this age where they have NOTHING to do.

I don't use the terms "all-natural, natural and environment friendly" because omgosh I have no clue if they are or not lol! I like to say "using high quality ingredients" because I feel that is what I get from my suppliers and I like to use "family friendly" vs "environment friendly". Only because I am quicker to choose something that is family friendly Even for items that I offer "naked" - no dyes, no fragrance - I still don't use all-natural or natural.

Thanks for the heads up on the all natural. It my updated brochure, its worder that we try to make them as natural and environmentally friendly as possible.
