As someone who likes my soap etc as "natural" as possible, I have issues with products made from bases and M&P, dyed and scented with fragrance oils, listed as "natural and environmentally friendly".

I didn't read or forgot the lotion or soap part with the post but for me want to be up front. I list my lotion as dye free with skin safe fragrance oils. Working on MP soap again sometime. For soap I will say the same but mention melt and pour base that is dye free, scented with skin safe fragrance oils.

I envy those who make soap but I have breathing problems with some things and know I cannot use lye. Did make soap and candles many years ago with my mom. In the 50's and 60's. Also made boo koo potholders. My mom kept me busy and I had fun.

Never see potholder making anymore. Very easy and would be good for kids to learn in this age where they have NOTHING to do.

I don't use the terms "all-natural, natural and environment friendly" because omgosh I have no clue if they are or not lol! I like to say "using high quality ingredients" because I feel that is what I get from my suppliers and I like to use "family friendly" vs "environment friendly". Only because I am quicker to choose something that is family friendly :) Even for items that I offer "naked" - no dyes, no fragrance - I still don't use all-natural or natural.
