Kelly
Ok, I've been searching high and low on the internet and can't find an answer! Hopefully someone here will know.I've been making jewelry for myself for awhile but I'm unhappy with the bracelets I make. I use beading wire and when I finish the jewelry is stiff and doesn't not drape nicely. Does anyone know why this is? Should I be leaving more wire showing (slack) in my designs? Now I put the beads very closely together and pull tightly on the wire when I'm putting on my clasps so that there is NO wire showing between the beads.I can post a picture of what I mean by my jewelry being stiff if you can't imagine what I mean, just let me know! I hope to get an answer here though because I'm going nuts!!!

Sharon in KY
That's what is wrong, they are strung a little too tight. Some beads will hide the slack, they will hide the knot or crimp and allow for a little movement inside the bead. HTH
