Proper Bowls for Candle Warmers

Recommended Posts

Hi all,

What kind of bowl would you use on a candle warmer to melt your tarts without it breaking and where can you get them cheap? Wal Mart?

I've seen the ceramic ones online for 5$ and up. I know you can't use thin glass, etc.

TIA,

Linda

I got a set of 3 pyrex type bowls from walmart and they work well. They are small, like you see on the cooking shows that hold the ingrediants already laid out. I think I paid 3 something for the set. I've seen them at Dollar Stores as well, I just make sure they aren't real thin.

Pyrex is great..I use that and others.

Basicically, if you have something that is microwave safe...that's what I go by anyway.

Never had a problem.

Just don't let it overlap from the warmer plate onto the plastic area or it will crack the warmer.
