Kelly
I mixed Polysorbate 20, with FO and distilled water but the mixture is cloudy (like milk)! What did I do wrong. I did equal parts FO to poly. Please help!TIA
RobinInOR
You have to test different percentages. Sometimes you need more PS than water. And some FOs will just be cloudy no matter what you do. Try a 2:1 PS:water and see if it gets any better.
Bunny
Mine was always cloudy with ps 20, I switched to 80 and have much better results..
Kelly
I tried 2:1, 3:1, and 4:1 same milky color, so I tried a differed FO, that one was better got "clearish" at a 6:1 ratio. But I need CLEAR! Grrr!

Bunny
After it rests for a week, yes. But it still takes testing each fo as they all require different amounts, just like the ps 20. I color mine lightly, but I can still see through it very well.
Kelly
Will the poly 20 ever clear up after sitting for awhile? What kinds of dyes could I use? My product isn't applied to the skin so could I use food coloring?
Bunny
I'm not sure, I wasn't very patient with it. Set them on a shelf for a week or two and see what happens. I use FD&C's for mine.
