You can always buy Melt & Pour (M&P or MP) soap base and pretty it up with fragrances and additives if you don't want to deal with lye at all. Darwin Posted May 21, 2007 Share Posted May 21, 2007 If you have never made soap before, then you may want to try Melt and pour just to get some practice. play with it and then start using additives.
