MommaD
This may be a stupid question, but I have never made a gel candle before, and want to find out before I try something that could be dangerous. Okay, say I want to make one of those cute looking pie candles. I do all the embeds in paraffin, but I want the gel in it that makes it look more realistic. If I DO NOT scent the gel, is it okay to use non gel compatible scents in the other stuff? I am thinking no, since it would be a melting candle, but I don't know, so I thought I would ask.Hope that makes sense.
Purple Lilac
I asked the same question when I started making gel candles and you are right you need to have the scented embeds gel safe also.
