Debra Phelps
I would like to get into soap, but I would like to know what really sells. I used to do melt and pour, but I see alot of homemade recipes out there now. TIA
Grumpy Girl
Depends on your area and your method of sale. What sells for me, may not sell for you. Personally here locally, if it's not a floral or a clean scent, it won't move. Online, its a different ball game entirely.
Mei-Mei
I can tell you what isn't the best selling soap for me. Lavender.*sigh*
RobinInOR
All my soap sells well. That's why I still have it and took 4 years to develop and tweek it. That's an extremely difficult question to answer. What sells is driven in large part by marketing, as well as great product that fulfills a need. In a broad range, I can say that fruity/fresh scents sell the best.
Meridith
And yet for me, Lavender soap sells great and is one of my best sellers.

asheebeans
Oh yeah, I have soaped all these different exotic scents and what remains my two bestsellers? OMH and Lavender!! Apparently the classics never go out of style. I am enjoying the heck out of my exotic soaps though! LOL More for me!
