EmpressC
I've heard everyone rave over cyclo, and actually I love the "dry oil" feel of it. However, I'm having a hard time scenting it. By that I mean, the FOs just don't seem to last. I'm not sure if it's specific to the fragrance or if I'm just using a "weak" version of cyclo. Has anyone else had this problem? Are there better grades of cyclo, or is it all the same, regardless of supplier? TIA.
tarynjms
You do need to use quite a bit FO with cyclo. For example, if you are making a 4 ounce sized body spray, you would use 3.5 oz cyclo & .5 oz FO2 ounce body spray, you would use 1.75 oz cyclo & .25 oz FODoes that help any? EmpressC
Thanx and yeah I've been using the 4oz size with 3oz cyclo, .5oz fco and .5oz fo. For some fragrances, it's adequate. But for others...not so much. I want to up the FO, but wouldn't want to be harmful to a person's skin. :undecided

For me, nothing is ever strong enough! But I don't want to do the whole perfumer's alcohol thing.....yet! As for different varieties of CYCLO, I did a search on cylo here, & there are a bunch of different suggestions from people. I've bought mine at Aroma Haven, when I'm ordering FO's & The Scent Works....and have been happy with both. I think I remember people liking the cyclo from Bitter Creek & the-sage.
