Anna Posted March 11, 2007 Share Posted March 11, 2007 I wicked a 16 oz apoth with two 51's zinc wicks,and one of the wicks is burning good,and the other one drowned out. I relight it,and it drowns out again.Both wicks came out of the same bag of wicks.Does anyone know why this is happening? Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

When I examined my wicks I discovered that the wick that was drowning out was slightly bent were as the other one was straight so it must have been bent slightly when I wicked the jar.
